Telemetry And Privacy

Local operation, optional aggregate telemetry, and what Kairn never uploads by default.

Telemetry is off until you explicitly enable it. Core repository evidence, ranking, and session state do not require telemetry or a hosted Kairn service.

Optional beta telemetry is limited to aggregate sanitized product usage, reliability, latency, and context-efficiency counters.

Kairn does not upload source, prompts, raw outputs, reasoning traces, agent trajectories, diffs, filenames, paths, repo names, branch names, usernames, or machine paths by default.

Estimated context suppression is an operational diagnostic. It is not treated as observed model-token or billing savings on the public evidence page.
